NB-PALM’s very own co-investigator, Dr. Pamela Jarrett, was appointed to the Government of Canada’s Ministerial Advisory Board on Dementia!
Dr. Jarrett will serve a three-year term with 11 other appointees from across the country to provide evidence-informed advice on current and emerging dementia-related issues, including opportunities to improve the quality of life of persons living with dementia and caregivers.

Lieutenant-Governor’s Award for Excellence in Aging
We are proud to announce that Dr. Pamela Jarrett was awarded the 2022 Lieutenant-Governor's Award for Excellence in Aging at the recent Aging Care and Research Symposium hosted by the Centre for Innovation and Research in Aging (CIRA). This award is given each year to someone who demonstrates excellence in their work with older adults across New Brunswick.
